Nokia Research Center is responsible for the long-term research necessary for Nokia's competitiveness. Most of the research is funded by Nokia's business groups.

Projects:

  • Linux for home devices: Implementing UPnP/DLNA AV Media Server.
  • OMAP development: Embedded device based upon Texas Instruments' OMAP dual ARM and DSP chip with Linux OS. Wrote keyboard and touchscreen drivers. Took part in writing frame buffer driver.
  • GEODE development: Embedded device based upon National Semiconductor's GEODE CPU and Linux OS. I have been doing implementation of power management based upon APM.
